**IMPORTANT NOTE – DUE TO POORLY CHILD, THE SUMMER TERM WILL START ON TUESDAY 17TH APRIL AND THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES ON MONDAY 16TH APRIL**
Nimble Tots workshops are regular term time storytelling workshops, plus ukulele classes, devised for 0-5s and their parents and carers. Most sessions are run by Director Becky Dixon, and take place in venues across South East London.
What kind of tickets do you have?
There are three sorts of tickets you can book for sessions:
A. PAYG – you can book a one off PAYG ticket for £7 (siblings over 6 months, or children under the care of the same nanny or childminder are £3 – maximum 3 kids per adult)
This is a one-off ticket for a specific session, and you’ll need to book every time you come. Drop ins are welcome if we have space, but we’re often fully booked.
B. Term Block – you can also book for the full term in the same venue and same time each week. This works out £6 a class (£3 siblings over 6 months) or cheaper if you book the term in advance during the ‘early bird booking’ period where it’ll be £5 a class.
You will not need to book in afresh each week, as your place will be held. There are no refunds available for classes missed, BUT if you know you are going to miss a class and let me know at least 24 hours in advance, I am always happy to switch you over to a different class that week!
C. Flexicard – you can buy a 6-class flexicard for £36 and this gives one child entry to any 6 sessions (or a child and sibling entry to 4 sessions). You will be given a paper card which you’ll need to bring to each session – there is no expiry date for when these should be used *BUT* please remember to book in for each session you’re coming to!
What about siblings?
Siblings over the age of 6 months are £3 a class, siblings under 6 months do not need a ticket.
What about additional adults?
There’s no extra charge for additional adults, but if we’re a very busy class, please note there might not be room for both grownups to sit in the circle with the little folk (although if there is room you’ll all be very welcome!)
Do you do a discount for childminders and nannies?
Children under care of a nanny or childminder can also use the sibling discount – maximum of 3 kids per adult please!
Do we need to book?
Booking in advance is strongly recommended as we are often full! You can check availability for a class on the booking site, and online booking is open right up until the class starts (or until it’s full). If we have room, drop ins are welcome, but there isn’t always space.
What if I need to cancel?
I’m afraid we can’t offer refunds for classes you can’t attend after booking. However, up until 24 hours in advance you can switch onto another session using the booking site OR if you’re a term booker, please email Becky and I’m happy to switch you over to a different class in the same week.
If less than 24 hours, please do get in touch if you need to cancel, there often is a waiting list for classes, so if I can switch you onto another class and fill your spot I’ll be happy to do so.
If you’ve booked a flexicard place and can no longer attend, please do make sure you cancel your space online.
It doesn’t happen often, as I’ll always do my best to find a dep teacher, but if a class is cancelled by me due to illness or other reasons, you will of course be refunded for your space!
Where are your venues?
Currently we run at the following venues:
Grow Mayow Gardens, Mayow Park, Mayow road, London SE26 4JA
You’ll find us just behind the Brown and Green Cafe – through the big gates and in the sheds. The nearest park entrance is the Mayow Road/Burghill Road entrance, and there is usually plenty of free on street parking. There is buggy parking space in the shed opposite ours, and whilst this is a garden venue, we’re under cover! However, on chilly days, do make sure that you and your children are wearing warm clothes.

Smallprint Books, 37 St Davids Road, London SE23 3EP
This new and delightful indie kids bookshop in Forest Hill has a brilliant workshop space at the back. We’re not far from Forest Hill Station, and if you’re driving, there’s free parking at the Sainsburys carpark under a minute walk away (but make sure you remember to get a ticket). There’s some, but not heaps of buggy space, so if you can bring a sling or carrier that would be super helpful.

Punk Me Up Ceramics, 34 East Dulwich Road
We’re in the back room of this delightful, quirky ceramic cafe. Coffee and cake available at the cafe itself, and we’re just a hop and skip away from Goose Green playground. Buggy parking available outside the cafe, or bring a sling or carrier if you can as there’s not heaps of space!
